SnugPro CHU Debuts At Texas State Fair
Snugtop recently introduced a Cab-Hi Utility cap called the SnugPro CHU at the Texas State Fair, after the rugged, lightweight topper caught the eye of GM officials, who included a SnugPro CHU-equipped 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab in their “Work Ready” Truck Exhibit. The SnugPro CHU is made from Advanced Structural Composites (ASC) and according to Snugtop, is approximately half the weight of a steel cap. Its cab-high design and flush-mount ASC side access doors are aerodynamically efficient and also contribute to optimum fuel economy. Snugtop’s new ergonomically engineered cap also features an oversized double rear door that is split 40/60 percent on the driver’s side and passenger side – an industry first. The doors come with stainless steel hinges and a folding T-handle lock, and can be equipped with security-screened windows.
The SnugPro CHU is available with many door, shelving and rack options, plus a back-up camera and back-up alarm. Also available are toolboxes, a strobe light and strobe light holder, plus different sized tube caddies. The SnugPro CHU can be outfitted for a wide variety of commercial applications and can be painted to match OEM truck colors using the DuPont ChromaPremiere® system.
