Roadwire Rolls Out Industry Leading Interior Extended Care Warranty
Roadwire Inc. has rolled out its new Roadwire Interior Extended Care program. This extended care program is a pioneering initiative that ensures repair or replacement of any stained, faded or damaged OEM or aftermarket cloth or leather interior installed in a new or used vehicle.
The program is the first of its kind available for the restyling industry and was developed to provide a seamless process for auto dealers to offer customers a long-term solution to maintaining the look and performance of their vehicle interior, while also generating a new dealership revenue stream.
The Roadwire Interior Extended Care program, administered by Innovative Aftermarket Systems (IAS) known for delivering high-quality F&I products to auto dealers, includes several unique features. For example, although a Roadwire initiative, the program is not exclusive to Roadwire OEM or aftermarket leather products. It provides coverage for all cloth, vinyl or leather interiors regardless of origin—no matter if they were supplied by other aftermarket manufacturers or an automaker. Coverage also includes protection against stains, fading and discoloration, as well as punctures, loose seams or stitches, tears and even protection against small cigarette burns. Coverage is available for three or five years, and requires no messy chemical sprays or applications.
“The new Roadwire Interior Extended Care program is a revolutionary concept. It’s the first time that auto dealers, working in concert with a nationwide network of authorized installers and restylers, are able to provide consumers with an unprecedented level of vehicle-interior protection,” stated Dave Edmondson, senior VP of Roadwire Inc. and its family of companies, Roadwire Leather, Distinctive Industries, Classic Soft Trim and Signature Automotive Products.
“Our partner, IAS, has a proven track record of delivering superior-quality F&I products to dealers nationwide, and we are excited by the opportunity to partner with IAS on this unprecedented initiative. This program not only creates a new F&I profit opportunity, but will also have a significant impact on customer satisfaction,” added Edmondson.
“IAS is pleased to provide our best-in-class services to administer the Roadwire Interior Extended Care program,” said Bob Corbin, IAS president and CEO. “By utilizing our award-winning administration infrastructure, Roadwire has the capabilities to grow and expand their protection program at a rapid pace. We look forward to a successful and mutually beneficial partnership.” For more information, visit www.Roadwire.com.

Ford released its preliminary information on its new 2017 F-150 Raptor. The truck is built from the same high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy that is shared with the standard F-150. This lightens the Raptor more than 500 pounds, giving it a significant performance advantage over previous models.
The Raptor's suspension features larger diameter Fox racing shocks and greater suspension travel. Tough terrain is managed with the Raptor's new terrain management technology, which allows the truck to change suspension characteristics on various types of terrain. As expected, the new 2017 Ford Raptor uses a 3.5 Liter EcoBoost engine that has more power than previous models. Considering that means it makes more than 411 horsepower and 434 lbs.-ft. of torque than the 6.2 liter. Coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the 2017 Raptor sounds like it was worth waiting for.
