Takit And Leer Partner Together To Create New Truck Accessory Products

These two companies are working together to create products targeted for truck owner's lifestyles

By Dan Sanchez

Takit, manufacturers of the BedSlide, and Leer, one of the leading cap and tonneau manufacturers, partnered to create a line of cargo managment systems and accessories that better fit with the lifestyles of truck owners. The new products will be unveiled in November at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will showcase a variety of Leer caps that incorporate the BedSlide inside. Included will be Leer's premiere 100XQ cap that has been redesigned and will be on display, installed on a 2014 Silverado and a 2014 Toyota Tundra.  "Many of our caps will work perfectly with the BedSlide cargo management system and were designed with our merging relationship in mind," says Kevin Page, VP of Sales, Marketing and Development for Truck Accessories Group. "We partnered with Leer to develop a handful of different accessories that can enhance the experience of people who use their trucks for work, hunting, fishing, camping and more," says Jason Ehrlich, Chief Marketing Officer at Takit/BedSlide. "But our current products will be fully compatible with any of the upcoming new products developed from our partnership."

Trucking Times' September/October 2013 issue features an exclusive interview with both Kevin Page and Jason Ehrlich about the partnership, and the types of products truck accessory retailers can expect to see at this year's SEMA show. To see how the two products integrated together first hand, they'll be on display at the  2013 SEMA Show. Visit either the TAG booth #31059 or the Takit/BedSlide booth #30129, both located in the South Hall of the show.
