Installing Leer’s New Trilogy Tonneau Cover

How to install Leer's new tri-fold hard tonneau cover

By TTM Staff

Leer's new Trilogy top-mount tonneau cover is the company's first tri-fold, hard tonneau cover that is designed to be easy to use and lightweight. The Trilogy also provides a secure way to secure and access cargo without completely removing the tonneau. The tri-fold design allows the tonneau to be folded up and removed or, can travel an open or closed position to accommodate any type of cargo that is taller than the truck's bedsides.

The Trilogy uses these adjustable levers to hold the tonneau up against the underside of the truck's bedrails.

Lay the folded Trilogy on the truck bed and align it up near the top of the cab.

Make sure that the front edge of the tonneau is flush with the bed and that the weatherstripping is properly seated.

Under the front panel, adjust the locking levers so that they fit snug against the underside of the truck's bedrails.

Under the rear panel, two more locking levers also need to be adjusted and fitted with the underside of the bedrail.

To open and close the Trilogy tonneau, simply open the tailgate and unlatch the levers.

The Trilogy can be folded completely open and features heavy-duty clips that hold the tonneau in the open position while driving.
