Capitalize On The Benefits Of A Robust Economy

The recession had a direct effect on work-trucks. Renewal of fleets was delayed as well as accessorizing existing fleets. As the economy improves, we believe this segment will keep growing. A robust economy translates into an energized work force, which means fleet contracts will be renewed and will increase, while existing work-trucks will be upgraded with new equipment. Even with modest gains in construction in 2013, we saw substantial growth in the marketplace for work-trucks and fleets.  Our potential for growth is exceptionally high, because not only are we growing existing contracts, we’re also acquiring new customers all the time.

Many of Truck Covers U.S.A’s products have always been directed towards owners of work-trucks, who have different needs from the average truck owner looking for a tonneau cover. We have always valued and respected the opinions and recommendations of our customers and dealers. One of our biggest assets is that we are able to keep in touch with the end users of our products and get feedback from them. We are also fortunate that with more than 10 years of supplying fleets and heavy-duty truck users, we know what works and what doesn’t. In fact, the manufacture of our latest rack system was in direct response to customer requests.

Truck Covers U.S.A.’s new rack system was introduced at the 2013 SEMA Show. The lightweight rack can carry loads up to 500-lbs., is easy to install and simple to dismantle and store. A key part of the innovation is that it is the first rack designed to work with a tonneau cover.  In addition, the rack doesn’t require any drilling to install. With its ease of installation, quality and load capacity that works with a retractable tonneau cover, or as a standalone product, our new work-truck rack is an industry first.

With a ready-made product that works for both independent contractors and commercial truck fleets, the key to getting more commercial and work-truck customers is getting the word out about your business and the products you carry. We appreciate that our dealers know their region better than we do, and our aim is to support them through marketing. By constantly sharing our product knowledge and activities with our dealers, we combine forces and become successful together. We provide marketing materials that include special work-truck/fleet brochures, specific product information, and a constantly updated website.  Sharing success stories of companies, government departments, cities, fleets and utilities is paramount and assists in getting our dealers a foot in the door. When selling accessories for work-trucks, customers want to see that the products have been tried and tested, and that similar agencies have had success with them.
