A Class Act

All American Truck & SUV Accessory Center Restyles A 2008 GMC In Performance And Class

By Candace Wittrock

The All American Truck and SUV Accessory Center, located in Salem Oregon, has recently restyled a 2008 GMC Denali 4WD crew cab pickup to show off the company’s ability to restyle vehicles.  "Our goal was to show how we can restyle a vehicle and combine performance with a classy style," says Casey Miser, Sales & Marketing at All American Truck & SUV Center. With over 30 years of experience, All American is Oregon’s largest canopy and custom truck accessory distributor and installation center, and is out to prove that an “All American” appearance is much better than a factory stock truck.

The 2008 GMC Denali has a factory 6.2 liter V8 engine that produces 403 horsepower at 5700 RPM’s. All American decided that wasn’t enough, and added a Magna Charger supercharger and a Corsa stainless dual exhaust. The combination helps the truck reach 505 horsepower, giving the Denali the added performance Miser and team were trying to achieve.

While the body of the GMC remained stock, All American enhanced the exterior by painting the grille frame to match the factory color, and painted the grille insert and GMC logo black. A set of HID headlights were also added but to tint the headlight and taillight lenses, they mixed clear coat and black automotive paint. The effect enhances the truck’s classy yet edgy appearance, at a very low cost.

All American thought a classy truck shouldn’t necessarily be lifted super high or slammed to the ground. Show the only modification to the truck’s suspension was the addition of a Suspension Maxx 2.5-inch leveling kit that raised the front end of the vehicle to level out its stance. With chrome trim on the doors and handles, it seemed appropriate to add a pair of Dee-Zee’s stainless steel nerf bars to ease getting in and out of the cab. But All American wasn’t done adding truck accessories just yet.

A  SnugTop SL tonneau cover was added to the top of the bed, while an ARMA spray-on urethane layer protects the floor and bed sides.  All American also swapped out the factory tires and wheels for a set of aggressive-looking Nitto Trail Grappler Tires, measuring 285/55R20, that are mounted to a set of 22x9.5 KMC Hoss aluminum wheels.
All American couldn’t stop at just the exterior in order to give the truck the look it wanted. They decided to keep the stock GMC Denali seats but swapped out the front factory headrests for Rosen Dual entertainment units. These feature built-in monitors and an integrated DVD player that includes the option of headphones and game controls.
"This particular truck was built for one of our clients," says Miser. "The idea here was to create a performance truck with a clean appearance.”  “While the truck looks great, your neighbor isn’t quite sure what all was added, they just know it is very clean,” says Miser.

With so many truck accessory products to choose from and years of experience, All American definitely put together a recipe for an appearance and performance package that’s bound to turn heads.

A Rosen Dual entertainment system was installed that features built-in monitors and an integrated DVD player.

A Suspension Maxx 2.5-inch leveling kit leveled the vehicle's stance, just enough to install a set of 22x9.5 KMC Hoss aluminum wheels mounted to Nitto Trail Grappler 285/55R20 tires.
